More About Organic
Cotton is the kind of plant for which is used, in its growth, high amount of various agricultural applications, like applying pesticide, insecticide, etc. In the year of 2003 uniquely, 25.000 tons of pesticide are used in cotton cultivation. Only 0,1% of these chemical substances, reaches to harmful beings fighted, but unfortunately 99,9% of them blends to land, water and air. In these circumstances, textile products obtained from the cotton which has been growed by touch of these chemicals have too much risk to damage human health and environment. |
However, organic cotton, is considered totally healthy, with the assistance of standards set and protected by law, as any chemical oriented substance and artificial manure is touched to the product in its growth. Today, the difference of regular cotton and organic cotton – which is a good, quality and useful product to human health – is undeniably clear. The special product of very careful works; organic cotton fabrics can be defined:
- Ecofriendly, human friendly,
- Very healthy,
- Softer, much more durable, so then much more quality when compared to other cottons.
